Norman Park

This was a commission for a new house on a hill, with endless views.

The organisation of the building components are arrange around the central courtyard, with sleeping areas on one side and living areas on the other. The three elements are articulated on the façade. The courtyard provides light and ventilation to the circulation areas and cross ventilation to the living areas. This results in an extremely pleasant living environment.

The generous spatial experience of the house is achieved by ample ceiling heights and by the careful placement of windows and doors which frame the stunning bushland and neighbourhood views creating a sense of abundant space.
